Recently, I successfully completed the MIT Sloan program “Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy”.
Artificial intelligence has advanced rapidly to become a universally recognized opportunity. Business leaders like myself need to attain relevant inspiration but also grounding in AI and its business applications to empower strategic decision-making and effective leadership. This online program, designed and executed by the MIT Sloan School of Management and the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), truly elevated my expertise with up-to-date AI skills and insights that drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainable business growth.
We have studied key AI technologies, including predictive and generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and robotics. Not only did the course advance my understanding of how technologies can be applied to improve business strategy, but it also explored the economic, societal, and business-related issues their implementation could raise. By examining how AI complements and strengthens the workforce rather than simply eliminating jobs, the program showed me how the ‘collective intelligence‘ of people and AI working hand in hand can be extremely powerful and overcome business challenges once considered impossible to resolve.
I promise to share some snapshots with you in the future.
